First I was confused...cos I thought, "man, this cosplayer looks really plastickey." And then I realized... that it's a Doll, which is super-cool if you ask me. :)

He's definitely a OOAK customized obitsu.

O.O Um, what does OOAK stand for? ^^;
And what's an obitsu? (Sorry, I'm a noob...)

Could you give me a link to the site you got him from? I'm dying to get a Gaara...

He's "One Of A Kind".
and you can get Obitsu 1/6 scale dolls/figures on eBay or on junkyspot.com.

Last question I swear! ^^;
How much did he cost you? O.O
Because I've looked at a load of different sites, and all of them run up in the hundreds of dollars!

I didn't mean to confuse you...
He's a one of a kind doll that I made from an Obitsu base body^^

Like it says above he's got a...
- 1/6 scale Obitsu slim male body (W)
- hand-sculpted Sculpey head
- hand-painted face: acrylics & pastels
- handmade wig: dyed mohair
- hand-sewn costume

A new 27cm Obitsu body shouldn't cost more than $20 USD. The cost of the other materials probably didn't total over $10... but he's worth more to me now just because I put so much time into making him^^

I ablsolutely agree. He's worth a lot, sentimentally. :)
I can't wait to make a Gaara doll! XD

I found a 55 cm blank doll. He's $135 on ebay.
I'm considering getting him, but if you found one for $20 dollars, you gotta give me a link to the one you bought! Lolz.
